      AI Use Cases

AI is part of the modern analytics ecosystem, but it is not presented as magic.

Participants will explore AI as a serious productivity layer:

      • conversational BI exposure with Wren AI,
      • AI-assisted thinking for dbt model development,
      • prompt design for analytics workflows,
      • reviewing and validating AI-generated analysis,
      • understanding where AI helps and where human judgment is still essential.

AI can help produce faster. Senior analysts must still decide what matters, validate what is true, communicate clearly, and own the recommendation.

      Governance And Metadata

Senior analysts need to understand trust.

That means more than writing SQL.

      They need to understand:

      • metric definitions,
      • ownership,
      • lineage,
      • documentation,
      • data quality expectations,
      • governance workflows,
      • how metadata helps teams find and trust data.

The platform includes OpenMetadata so participants can see how governance and metadata fit into the analytics ecosystem.

      CV And Career Support

The final layer of the course is career positioning.

After participants work with the platform, they learn how to communicate that experience:

      • how to write a stronger data analyst CV,
      • how to explain business impact,
      • how to describe technical contribution without exaggeration,
      • how to position modern data platform experience,
      • how to prepare interview stories,
      • how to explain AI-era analytics judgment.

The goal is not to promise a job.

The goal is to help participants speak about their work with more credibility, clarity, and seniority.

Why The Cohort Is Limited To 10 People

The first cohort has only 10 seats. This is not artificial scarcity. It is intentional design.

      There are four reasons:

      1. Infrastructure stability The course uses a real data platform. A smaller cohort protects reliability and makes the experience smoother.

      2. Small cohort learning This is not a mass video course. The goal is a focused group of serious learners.

      3. Better discussion and feedback Fewer participants means deeper questions, better office hours, and more useful support.

      4. Premium experience The product is designed to feel careful, human, and practical.

What Participants Will Be Able To Do After The Course

      Participants should be able to:

      • explain how a modern analytics platform works end to end,
      • understand the role of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Airflow, dlt, dbt, Metabase, OpenMetadata, and Wren AI,
      • run personal dlt and dbt workflows in Codespaces,
      • build and test dbt models,
      • understand raw, bronze, silver, and gold layers,
      • explain SCD2 concepts and reporting marts,
      • understand why metadata and governance matter,
      • use AI-assisted analytics responsibly,
      • communicate insights in a business-focused way,
      • discuss analytics work more credibly in senior interviews.
      • understand the most important data analytics and data engineering concepts a data analyst should know

      What Makes This Different

      This is not:

      • a generic dashboard course,
      • a collection of passive videos,
      • a tool-by-tool tutorial,
      • a promise of instant seniority,
      • a course that treats AI as a shortcut around fundamentals.

      This is:

      • a real lab architecture,
      • a small live cohort,
      • a guided business and technical experience,
      • a modern analytics ecosystem,
      • a bridge between hands-on workflows and senior-level communication.

      Vendor Requests And Collaborations

DataConscious Labs is also open to selected vendor requests and collaborations.

The platform can be used to explore and demonstrate tools in realistic contexts: ingestion, orchestration, analytics engineering, BI, metadata, governance, AI-assisted analytics, data quality, and business reporting.

This does not mean the course becomes a vendor showcase.

The standard is higher than that:

      • the collaboration should create real educational value,
      • the tool or idea should fit a realistic data workflow,
      • the demo should be practical and transparent,
      • any commercial relationship should be clearly disclosed.

If you are building a data, BI, metadata, governance, AI analytics, or analytics engineering product and want to explore a useful educational collaboration, DataConscious Labs is open to that conversation.

      Vendor Requests And Collaborations
