In this Privacy Policy, "Data Conscious Labs", "we", "us", and "our" refer to DataConscious L.P and the Data Conscious Labs learning products and services, including the Senior Data Analyst Accelerator.
For personal data processed in connection with our courses, learner onboarding, communications, and related services, we generally act as the data controller.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you:
- visit or interact with a Data Conscious Labs landing page or form
- join a waitlist, request information, or contact us
- enroll in or pay for a course, cohort, lab, or related learning product
- use Moodle, GitHub-based learner materials, technical lab access, or other learning systems connected to our services
- receive operational, support, or marketing communications from us.
This policy does not replace the privacy notices of third-party services that may be used to deliver parts of the learning experience, such as Stripe, MailerLite, MailerSend, GitHub, or other providers.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal data.
This may include your name, email address, company name, role, country, and any other information you provide when registering, joining a waitlist, making an inquiry, or enrolling.
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment provider. We may receive information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, customer email, billing details, invoice details, VAT or tax details where applicable, and other information needed to confirm enrollment or keep accounting records. We do not intentionally collect or store full payment card numbers.
This may include your enrollment status, cohort, course access status, Moodle account details, GitHub or learner repository access information, lab usernames, provisioning status, and access records for learning tools used as part of the course.
We may process information about course participation, Moodle activity, submitted work, support needs, live-session participation, lab progress, account access, and use of technical learning environments where this is needed to deliver or support the course.
Our systems and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, login events, security logs, error logs, claim-link status, access timestamps, and other operational records needed to run and secure the service.
If you contact us by email, forms, replies to onboarding messages, or other support channels, we may process the contents of those communications and related metadata.
If you subscribe to updates, join a waitlist, or opt in to marketing communications, we may process your marketing preferences, subscription status, email engagement information, and unsubscribe choices.
We may collect personal data:
- directly from you when you complete forms, enroll, pay, contact us, or use the course
- through landing pages, waitlists, and email tools such as MailerLite or MailerSend
- through payment providers such as Stripe when you complete checkout or payment

- provide Moodle access, learner materials, live sessions, technical labs, and related course resources

We may use service providers and technical tools to deliver the course and operate the business. These may include:
- MailerLite and MailerSend for landing pages, email lists, automations, and transactional or marketing emails
- Stripe for payment processing, checkout, payment status, and related billing records
- Moodle or Moodle-hosted infrastructure for learning management and course access
- GitHub and GitHub Codespaces for learner repositories, browser-based exercises, and course materials where applicable
- Cloudflare for access protection, routing, and security-related services
- Course and self-hosted lab infrastructure such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Airflow, Metabase, OpenMetadata, Wren AI, dbt, dlt, and related educational tools where they are used for learner access or instruction
- cloud, hosting, email, monitoring, backup, and security providers used to operate the service
- analytics or cookie tools only where they are enabled on the relevant website or service.
These providers may process personal data on our behalf or as independent controllers, depending on the service. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply.
Some service providers may process personal data outside your country or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.

- enrollment, account, and learner access records for as long as needed to provide the course, maintain agreed access, resolve support issues, and keep appropriate business records;

No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your own account credentials, private links, and learner files confidential.
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to:

The current MailerLite landing page is assumed to use MailerLite's default landing page and form functionality. We do not assume that Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, or other third-party tracking tools are used unless they are separately configured.
The landing page may use essential cookies and similar technologies required for page and form functionality. We may also receive aggregate analytics from MailerLite, such as page views, unique visitors, form submissions, subscribers collected, and conversion rates.
We do not receive the email address or direct identifying details of every anonymous page visitor. We receive personal data when a user submits a form, subscribes, pays, contacts us, enrolls, requests support, or otherwise provides identifying information.
